My Favorite Book Stores

I know we all love to order stuff online. It’s convenient, fast, and often shipping isn’t that expensive either. But there is just something so special about going to a book store and wander between the stacks for hours. Maybe picking up a book here and there, and if you’re lucky, settling down in a comfy chair with a cup of coffee or tea. I think we all have our favorite stores to go to, so here is a list of my personal favs! Lattes and Literature – Breda, the Netherlands I have to start with my original local favorite…

My Favorite Halloween Movies

October means watching scary movies. Unfortunately, I’m a massive wimp and refuse to watch anything ~too~ scary, so this my list of my favorite mildy-spooky-but-not-super-scary Halloween movies! List based on “Top 10 Haunted Places” The Winchester House – San Jose, USA The Winchester House is a large Queen Anne style mansion in San Jose, California. It used to be the personal residence of Sarah Winchester, widow of firearm magnate William Wirt Winchester. Multiple people owned the…

Full Disclosure: my entire TBR

Pretty much everyone I know via blogging or Bookstagram has a TBR that could probably kill them if it ever became sentient. We buy a book, promising to read it soon, and whoops! One year later it’s still unread on our shelves. As far as TBRs go, I don’t think mine is that bad, but I certainly own a lot of books that I haven’t read yet. And don’t get me started on the void that is my e-reader. I keep adding books to that thing, and by now I have no clue how many are on there… To keep…
