Reading Check-In – October – December

Happy first day of 2024 book friends! Did you all make your goals last year? And have you set any new goals for this year? I think I’m going to aim for 50 again. It’s a goal I can consistently make, and if I read more, that’s a bonus! Last year (saying ‘last year’ feels like it was so long ago, but it’s only been two days??) I had a goal of 50 and I read… 50. Two Twisted Crowns – Spoiler Free Review

I was able to read an ARC through NetGalley and the book comes out next month already! This is more YA fantasy than anything else I’ve read recently, but it ended up being quite enjoyable. the night hunt Check out…

The Scarlet Veil – Spoiler Free Review

Happy Wednesday book friends! Coming at you with another review, this time of The Scarlet Veil be Shelby Mahurin. I managed to land an ARC for this book, which honestly surprised my so much because my NG ratio is abysmal. Unfortunately, I will now need three to five business days to recover from this book. So I think none of us actually liked Célie during the first two books of Serpent & Dove. For me that all changed in Gods & Monsters, though. So when I heard about The Scarlet Veil I obviously requested an ARC on NetGalley. Once again…
