My September 2021 Anticipated Releases

Happy Sunday everyone! Today is going to be a lazy day for me, with hopefully lots of reading. We’re living on September 5th, so it’s a little late for my most anticipated releases post, but I honestly completely forgot about making one, so… Here it is!

I think this month is yet again going to be great for book releases, and not great for my wallet. Oh well, treat yourself, I guess. There are actually quite some books on this list that did not make my original 2021 most anticipated releases post, which is great! Because that means I’ve been discovering more books as the year progressed. Anyway, let’s go take a peek at which books I am most excited for this month! september 2021 anticipated

Defy the Night

By Brigid Kemmerer

Expected publication: September 14

Starting off this list with Defy the Night. This book seems like it has all the classical tropes I enjoy. Kind of feelings like there’s an enemies to lovers situation going on here, which I’m definitely not complaining about. I haven’t read A Vow so Bold and Deadly yet, though, so maybe I should do that first before reading this book…

The Bronzed Beasts

By Roshani Chokshi

Expected publication: September 21

Every time I think of the Gilded Wolves series I just internally scream. I enjoyed The Gilded Wolves, but looooooved The Silvered Serpents (yes, I needed that many ‘Os’). I read an eARC of TSS over a year ago, so can you imagine how long I’ve been sitting on that cliffhanger?! Literally so excited for this book to come out so I can have answers.

Iron Widow

By Xiran Jay Zhao

Expected publication: September 21

You’ve probably seen this book around here, since I reviewed it last week. I think I am going to get myself a physical copy of this book. I’m also excited for the rest of y’all to read this story. Is it weird that I’m already excited for the next book even though literally nothing is known about it yet? You’ll probably understand once you finish this book.

Vespertine

By Margaret Rogerson

Expected publication: September 28

Hello, this is the perfect book to read in October. It has angry ghosts, magic, and evil, which should be enough reason to pick this book up. Very excited to read this. I don’t have much else to say besides that.

Once Upon a Broken Heart

By Stephanie Garber

Expected publication: September 28

It’s been a long while since I read Caraval (reread time??), but I’m still excited for this book. Jacks was such an interesting character, and I’m excited to see what he does in this story. It sounds like it’s going to be tragic. The reviews actually look incredibly good, too, which makes me even more excited!

And that’s it for my September 2021 anticipated releases! Are there any books on my list that you’re excited for too? Let me know so we can be impatient together!
