After having to delete my WWW Wednesday from this morning, I decided to quickly post an updated version anyway. Goes to show that I really shouldn’t be writing these in advance, because you never know when you suddenly finish two books in one day…
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Books. The three Ws are:
– What are you currently reading?
– What did you recently finish reading?
– And what do you think you’ll read next?

What I’m currently reading

Technically I’m currently reading three books. I started The Way of Kings a long while ago, but I needed a break from it because it’s simply too big to read in one go. After about 500 words in any book, I kind of want to read something else. I swear I am enjoying it, and I will finish it eventually. I’m just taking my sweet time for now.
I’ve also been making progress in The Unspoken Name, by A.K. Larkwood. Although I’m enjoying the journey, the journey isn’t going very fast. I just needed something else to keep my mind busy. The entire plot really revolves around one single object, so it tends to get a little bit boring sometimes. I will try to finish the book this month though, because I am enjoying the characters a lot.
Then today I picked up The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde. This book fits my Books About Books reading challenge, and I think this will be the most bookly, bookish book-book I’ve ever read. I mean, the characters literally jump into works of fiction, it doesn’t get much more bookish than that. Currently on page 20, so I can’t say a lot about it yet, but I have high hopes for this one!
What I’ve recently finished

Well, in case I haven’t said it enough, I finished two books yesterday. I had about 200 pages to go in Fool Moon by Jim Butcher. Since my edition is a big font type – small paperback I should have expected to finish it before today. This is the second book in the Dresden Files, and if all of them are going to be as action-packed as the first two, I’ll be pleased.
The other book I finished is The Upside of Falling. I started reading it yesterday after finishing Fool Moon and only paused for dinner. I flipped to the last page late at night. This was an incredibly sweet romance novel, and you can find my full review here, which I posted earlier today.
What I’ll read next

This is always a hard question, because I’m kind of a mood reader. Especially now that I just started a new book, it’s very hard to pinpoint what I’ll be feeling like in a couple of days. I might pick up one of my other current reads and satisfy myself with those until The Empire of Gold comes out next month on the 11th. Or I might read a cute summery book. If I don’t get to go anywhere this summer, I’ll just travel through fictional characters.

That’s it for today’s ~updated~ WWW Wednesday! Are you currently reading anything good?
