So I’ve never participated in WWW Wednesday before, so I thought it was about time to do so! Especially now that I’m actually consistently reading.
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s are:
– What are you currently reading?
– What did you recently finish reading?
– And what do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading

I’m currently still reading Aurora Burning, but not for much longer! I have about fifty pages left, and I wanted to finish it last night, but I was just too sleepy. I will finish it today, and then you can expect a review sometime this week! Up to now I’m totally loving the book, and I’m low key scared of the ending. I’ve seen some ~upset~ people, so I assume my heart is going to be broken by the end of it. Though not gonna lie… I never recovered from the first book. The only negative I can find at this point is that I don’t really agree with some of the actions the characters have taken. And the beginning was so intense I was a little overwhelmed by it. I didn’t even know that too much action was a thing, but here we are.
Recently finished

Two days ago or so I finished reading All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace. I enjoyed it, but I wasn’t blown away. Though I did really love the world and the magic system. I will read anything that involves pirates, mermaids, and the sea, so the setting is right up my ally. In the beginning I was kind of frustrated with the main character, because she seemed really entitled. Though I enjoyed her character arc a lot. In the end, she always seems to do what is right for her kingdom.
What I’ll read next

I’m not at all sure yet what I’ll read next. I’ve been reading a lot on my e-reader lately, and I’m kind of feeling like reading a real physical book again. The only downside is that most of my unread physicals are in another country… I might pick up the Eyre Affair, by Jasper Fforde, as it perfectly fits my Books About Books Reading Challenge. Or (or maybe and?) I’ll pick up The Unspoken Name by A.K. Larkwood. I purchased it at Barnes & Noble right before they closed, and it’s been on my TBR since it was released in February.
