The books that made me ugly cry. Now with gifs

So by now you’ll all know that I love reading fantasy and science fiction novels best. Unfortunately, I believe these books also have the highest mortality rates in the fiction world… Me, and undoubtedly countless of others, get uber attached to characters, and when something happens to our babies you can count on us sobbing our eyes out. I thought it would be fun to relive those heartbreaking moments by putting together this list of books that made me cry the most. WARNING! My list of travel essentials

At the end of this month I am going on vacation to Puerto Rico and I couldn’t be more excited! Five years later I realize how wrong I was… I don’t have any pictures of what this looked like (mainly because I could for the life…

What are the first things you look at when you first buy a book? A couple things I do is take the dust jacket off, to see if there is any cool “secret” art underneath, read the author bio in the back, and check if there’s a map! I get a weird sense of happiness when I discover a map in a book. I love studying the map for a while, because often they are just so detailed! And since today is #mapmonday over on the Gram, I thought I’d dedicate a post to a few of my favorite maps,…
