My October 2021 Most Anticipated Releases

Happy October everyone! I hope you’re all ready to get spooky this month. Not in this post though, this post is just about the books I’m looking forward to coming out. I have five on my list this month, most of which didn’t make my original 2021 most anticipated releases post when I wrote it back in December 2020. Oh well, it’s not like my TBR is out of control or anything… Anyway, let’s check out my October 2021 most anticipated releases! Legacy of Steel – Spoiler Free Review

Happy Tuesday book friends! I recently finished the sequel to Legacy of Ash: Legacy of Steel. I overall really enjoyed it, but I do think that the first book was slightly better. The third book, Legacy of Light, came out not too long ago, so hopefully I’ll be able to pick that one up soon! I’ve been reading gigantic epic fantasy tomes almost exclusively lately, and my brain is now close to mush. But, that doesn’t mean I can’t write a review. Happy Sunday everyone! Today is going to be a lazy day for me, with hopefully lots of reading. We’re living on September 5th, so it’s a little late for my most anticipated releases post, but I honestly completely forgot about making one, so… Here it is! August 2021 Reading Wrap Up

Happy September everyone! Has anyone else gotten their Fall decor out yet? My room has been decked out for a while now, I can never wait until September… It’s still warm now, but I’ve already been wearing sweaters (and sweating in them). August was an okay reading month for me. My reading has slowed down a lot, but I’ve also only read books that I really enjoyed. Though I have been having some trouble with picking out a book to read. I catch myself sampling a chapter or two from many books before finally settling. Anyway, I read six books…

Iron Widow – Spoiler Free Review

Happy Sunday book friends! I finally decided to start reading through my NetGalley arcs, and I have no regrets that I chose Iron Widow first. It also comes out within a month, so it was probably time I started that one anyway. Iron widow is what happens when someone decides to write a story about Pacific Rim (but not) and ancient China (but not). That sounds vague, so lemme retry. Basically, the author has described it as taking place in a separate sci-fi world, with a society very loosely based on Chinese history. So it’s not to be taken as…
