It’s already almost March, can you believe it?! It feels like yesterday when I was complaining January lasted forever… I’m so glad it’s March though. We’ve got some awesome releases to look forward to this month!
House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas – 3 March

Kicking this list off with the number one of my most anticipated March releases. I am very stoked for this book, but I plan to get it when I’m back in the US. There’s a good chance I’ll go straight from the airport to Barnes & Noble, haha!
Anyway, I’m super stoked to see how Maas has written an adult novel. We all know the ACOTAR is more new adultish, so I wonder how this story will unfold.

Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare – 3 March

I will forever read Shadowhunter books, I don’t care how many are released. I’m very excited for this book because it’ll be the first book I’ll read set in the Edwardian era! I think… Of course, we can expect to see some familiar names, heroics, and adventure. It comes out on the same day as House of Earth and Blood. Guess I’ll buy two books as soon as my plane lands!

Havenfall by Sara Holland – 3 March

What is it with books releasing on the 3rd this month? My wallet is already crying. I didn’t even realize that Sara Holland would publish another book this month, I’m honestly a fraud of a book blogger. Oh well, at least it’s made my March releases post now! This book sounds super duper interesting. I really enjoyed her Evermore duology, as well.

A safe haven between four realms. The girl sworn to protect it–at any cost.
Hidden deep in the mountains of Colorado lies the Inn at Havenfall, a sanctuary that connects ancient worlds–each with their own magic–together. For generations, the inn has protected all who seek refuge within its walls, and any who disrupt the peace can never return.
For Maddie Morrow, summers at the inn are more than a chance to experience this magic first-hand. Havenfall is an escape from reality, where her mother sits on death row accused of murdering Maddie’s brother. It’s where Maddie fell in love with handsome Fiorden soldier Brekken. And it’s where one day she hopes to inherit the role of Innkeeper from her beloved uncle.
But this summer, the impossible happens–a dead body is found, shattering everything the inn stands for. With Brekken missing, her uncle gravely injured, and a dangerous creature on the loose, Maddie suddenly finds herself responsible for the safety of everyone in Havenfall. She’ll do anything to uncover the truth, even if it means working together with an alluring new staffer Taya, who seems to know more than she’s letting on.
As dark secrets are revealed about the inn itself, one thing becomes clear to Maddie–no one can be trusted, and no one is safe . . .
Imagine Me by Tahereh Mafi – Expected 31 March

To be honest, I forgot that Imagine Me is one of the March releases I was excited for when I wrote my 2020 Most Anticipated post… But now I’m excited again! I really like this series, and I’m glad that Mafi expanded the original trilogy We know so much more about the world now. I wonder how it’s all going to end?
