Better late than never! Here are my five star predictions for 2020 releases that I will hopefully actually read this year…
If you want to read which books were on my most anticipated list for 2020, you can find it here! Now, let’s test my psychic abilities and make some five star predictions!
Chain of Gold – Cassandra Clare
I feel like Clare’s books always get better the more she writes of them. I enjoyed the Mortal Instruments, but I absolutely loved the Infernal Devices and the Dark Artifices. Hopefully Chain of Gold will be the five star read I predict it to be.
House of Earth and Blood – Sarah J. Maas
I’m really excited for this book and I hope it’s not going to let me down. I love it when authors branch from YA to adult novels, and I’m curious to see how this book will reflect an older audience. My prediction is that there will be a lot more violence, but I’m okay with that.

The Empire of Gold – S.A. Chakraborty
This is probably the only one of my five star predictions that’ll actually turn out to be five stars, without a doubt. I rated City of Brass and Kingdom of Copper five stars, and they were so well deserved. I don’t see any reason why the Empire of Gold should deserve any less.
Aurora Burning – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
I’m so pumped for this book! I read Aurora Rising in a single day and I think that Aurora Burning will be read in the same amount of time. The blurb makes it sound like there will be sooo much going on in this book, and it’s less than 400 pages! I hope it won’t feel like the story’s been rushed, though.
I really need to go through all of the books being released this year to which ones are my anticipated list, cause I have still not down that yet! *insert slightly worried and scared emoji*
