Ever since I started my bookstagram, the amount of props I own has exploded. I cannot walk into a store without looking at everything from a Bookstagrammer’s perspective. My favorite stores to shop at are craft stores like Michael’s and AC Moore. They just have the best seasonal stuff! I didn’t go too crazy on fall supplies this year, but nevertheless, here is a small post about my favorite fall props!
Shout-out to JennieLy again for providing this idea in her super helpful blogtober post!
All the pumpkins!

I love a good looking pumpkin, as evidenced by this photo I stole from myself. I think I took it two years ago? Anyway, this is the most pumpkins I could fit in one photo, back when Three Dark Crowns was just Three Dark Crowns and One Dark Throne. I’m pretty sure I still own all of these pumpkins, just don’t ask me where to find them. The small ones are all scattered throughout my shelves though! They’re my favorite props to sneak into pictures. They always fit somewhere! I bought them in a bag at Michael’s for a couple bucks.
Leaves, everywhere

These fall garlands are new this year. I’ve seen people put them around their shelves, and I thought, that looks cool, I’m going to do that! So here we are. I got these at AC Moore for like five dollars each. Gotta love a good sale. I stuck some command hooks to my shelves so I could just drape them instead of trying to stick them to my shelves with tape somehow.
Some darker stuff

You can’t have fall without having Halloween. I have some Halloween stuff out already, because I’m a Halloween nerd, and for me it officially starts on October 1st (unofficially it starts on September 1st. The big reason I don’t make fun of people listening to Christmas songs two months early is because I’m exactly the same with Halloween). I got these bottles of poison last year at Michael’s, and the flowers the year before that. And let’s not forget about my trusty candle stands! These actually pop up in some of my regular photos as well, because they’re the only ones I have. But they’re black and wonky and I love them.

And this creepy skull is permanently mounted on my door! I also bought it at Michael’s last year, and after Halloween had come and gone I decided I’d just leave it where I put it. It honestly fits my personality and no one has even questioned yet why I have a framed skull in my room year-round.
I use props too! I’m actually going to have to head to Michael’s to see what all Halloween stuff they have as I’ll be fixing up a room in my home to finally have a library and I’m going to need to thrift store/regular store shop to find some props to put up.

Yay! Michael’s is the best place for props honestly. I think all their Halloween stuff is 50% off now, so it’s a great time to go! I’m thinking of heading over myself as well soon, and see if I can find some cute little decor stuffs for my room:)
