Everyone has that one author of which they own ALL the books. I am no exception. Here is a list of my top ten auto buy authors!
Jay Kristoff
Every since I read Nevernight, Jay Kristoff has become one of my favorite auto buy authors for me. By now I’ve read the Nevernight chronicle, and the Iluminae Files, plus Aurora Rising. I still need to read the Lotus War series, but I own the first two books!
Marissa Meyer
I remember buying Cinder because I thought the cover looked cool and I wanted to read more sci-fi. It wasn’t even a popular series yet back then. I’m glad it exploded though! I love the Lunar Chronicles, and I have purchased every novel by Marissa Meyer since. I need to catch up with the Renegades series though…
Leigh Bardugo
I am pretty sure I have all Leigh Bardugo books she ever published. And I even read them all. I can’t wait for King of Scars 2 and Ninth House 2! And maybe some more Six of Crows content?
Sarah J. Maas
I own 13 of her books, that should say enough. I loved both the Throne of Glass and ACOTAR series, and I literally finished House of Earth and Blood 24 hours ago. I’ll maybe have a review for that book soon!

Cassandra Clare
I own 15 of Clare’s books!! Never thought I would own and read so many books by the same author. And I don’t even own all of them, yet! I’m not in a super big hurry to get all her co-authored work on Shadowhunters too, but maybe someday when I have extra money to spend I will get them. I’m now focusing on her series, so obviously I bought Chain of Gold. Which I’m actually reading right now!
V.E. Schwab
I haven’t read all of her books yet, but I own ten of them now, I think. Some I own on my e-reader. I read Vicious a while ago, and still need to purchase Vengeful. Other than that one and the Near Witch, I ~think~ I own all of her novels! Though my favorite series by her is a toss up between A Darker Shade of Magic and Monsters of Verity.
Brandon Sanderson
Do I own all his books? No. Have I at least read more than just the Mistborn series and Skyward? Also no. But, I loved his other work so much that I’ve blindly purchased other works of his. I have a lot of his work on my e-reader, even. I really want to read the Stormlight Archive, but those books are BIG and I’m intimidated…
