Book Outlet is seriously the best place to go if you like getting books at a discounted price. Especially around Thanksgiving because you usually get an extra 30% off. Obviously I couldn’t resist, so let’s examine what I ordered!
My favorite thing about Book Outlet is that they also offer free shipping when you spend 35 dollars. To be completely honest, that’s not a lot of money. Especially considering how many books you can get from them with that amount. With the additional 30% off, I was able to get eight hardcover books for less than 40 dollars! Score.
What did I get…
- The collector’s edition of Throne of Glass – Sarah J. Maas
- Catwoman: Soulstealer – Sarah J. Maas
- Crown of Feathers – Nicki Pau Preto
- The Orphan Queen – Jodi Meadows
- The Mirror King – Jodi Meadows
- Wicked Saints – Emily A. Duncan
- Obsidio – Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
- A Curse So Dark and Lonely – Brigid Kemmerer
What am I most excited for…
I will be a little honest here. Whenever I order from Book Outlet I order books that were not super high on my “to buy” list. They’re books I’m intrigued by, but I will probably not read them within the next few weeks.
BUT

An exception has to be made for A Curse So Dark and Lonely. I didn’t expect it to be on Book Outlet, but here it is. I finished my previous read on the day my order came in, so I decided to dive straight into ACSDAL. I’m nearly finished and I’ve been loving it.
I’m also really excited to read Catwoman. Y’all probably know I love Maas’s writing, and I loved Bardugo’s Wonderwoman. This will be the second book in the DC Icons books that I’ll read.
Obsidio I purely got because I didn’t own it yet. I mean, duh. What I really mean is that I’ve already read it. They had it at my local library! But I also really wanted to own the rest of the Illuminae series, so I wanted to get Gemina and Obsidio. Alas, they only had Obsidio. Well obviously that didn’t stop me from getting it anyway.
