Fae Friday – Time to Celebrate!

Happy Fae Friday everyone! I hope you all are entering a great weekend. First of all, this weekend is Kristy’s birthday, so happy birthday to you!! Let’s all give her a birthday follow if you don’t follow her awesome blog yet.

Anyway, Fae Friday is hosted by Kristy @ Caffeinated Fae, and you can find all future prompts on her blog! All you gotta do is link back to her page and have fun with the prompt! Here is this week’s prompt:

“Tomorrow is my birth, and it’s cause for celebration! Lucky for us, the Fae LOVE to celebrate so, the prompt this week is: What are some upcoming books that have you jumping for joy?”

I’ve already read and reviewed this book of course, but I still can’t wait for it to be released into the wild! I’ve seen pictures of the final copies and they look sooo good. It helps that the story is very good, too! It comes out on the 27th of October, right before my birthday, so I’m thinking of gifting it to myself. Because I totally deserve it.

Here’s another one I’ve already read and reviewed, but I can’t wait for this one to come out for real either. These Violent Delights publishes officially on November 17th, so less than a month to go! I’m hoping everyone will gift themselves a copy of this book, as I really enjoyed it and obviously you should all believe my opinion (jk, but still get the book).

Honestly I would buy this book for myself purely based on the cover and the fact that it includes full color illustrations. Like, hello! Sign me up. Then we have the added bonus that all the stories are told from Cardan’s perspective. So we get new stories, familiar stories, and stories we wanted from TFOTA but didn’t quite get. This book is expected to publish November 24th, so I’m guessing that is still subject to change.

That’s it for today! These are the books I’m still looking forward to this year. Funny how I’ve already read two of them… Anyway, more books caught my eye, like A Sky Beyond the Storm and the Burning God, but I haven’t read these series yet, soooo. I’m looking forward to them, but distantly.
