Fae Friday: My Favorite Warrior

It’s Friday again! It feels like yesterday since I last typed that… why is time going by so quickly?? Anyway, Friday means Fae Friday time of course!

This week’s prompt is special. Leah’s great nephew was born prematurely with some health issues. So he is the inspiration behind this week’s prompt, because he’s a little fae warrior, too!

Unfortunately, warrior health care is expensive, and a Go Fund Me has been set up to help alleviate the costs. If you can, please consider donating.

Don’t forget to give Leah’s blog some love as well, because she came up with this prompt!:)

And as always, you can find all Fae Friday prompts on Caffeinated Fae dot com!

And now on to my favorite warrior…

It’s gotta be Kady Grant! The Illuminae Files is one of my favorite science fiction trilogies ever, and I don’t think any other series has come close to giving me this level of stress. I even wrote a post about it. Warning! There are some spoilers in this post.

Anyway, I love Kady because despite all the horrors that she faces, she keeps her head on her shoulders and does everything in her power to do what’s right. I think she’s one of the most strongly written characters in the series. She’s very mature, but also definitely has her teenager moments. And I adore her natural curiosity and ingenuity. In all, I believe she’s a true warrior!

Do you have a favorite warrior?

Once you get over the weird format, it’s impossible to put down! It also reads super fast because of itπŸ˜„

I really need to read that book! I got an ARC of it when I worked at the bookstore and have yet to read it!
