Happy Friday! I’ve been quite busy the past week, but of course I have to make time free to post a Fae Friday post.
Fae Friday is a weekly tag hosted and created by Caffeinated Fae. You can find all the future prompts on her page! This week we’re talking about how some faeries will make you dance until you die. So the prompt this week is, what is a book that made you forget the world around you? There are many awesome other worlds beside our own, so obviously I can’t just leave it at one book…

A Court of Mist and Fury – Sarah J. Maas
This is the first book I thought of when I read this prompt. So much went down in this one, I had to keep reading! I don’t think I read it in one sitting, but I definitely finished it super quick. I love Maas’s world building, and I wish I lived in Velaris. I’ve always imagined it to look like an extra saturated version of Cinque Terre, in Italy!
Nevernight – Jay Kristoff
For me, this was once of those books that wouldn’t let me go once I was in. I enjoyed this entire series, but I specifically remember staying up stupidly late to finish the book because I encountered a plot twist, and I just HAD to know how it would end. This is one of my favorite other worlds because it’s based on the ancient Roman republic, and I love history and seeing elements inspired by it in books.
Strange the Dreamer – Laini Taylor
This was one of those books that had to be savored. You don’t want to speed through this one! Just let the story wash over you until you’re carried away. I felt like this book was more character driven than plot driven, but the world building is also astounding in my opinion. If I could go to Weep now, I would drop everything and go live there forever.
ACOMAF is my fav book of all time!! I love that book with my whole heart! and will love Rhys and Feyre forever! I just finished SJM Crescent City and am equally obsessed with that book as well haha!
I keep hearing about Nevernight and wondering if I should read it??
Great post 🙂

ACOMAF is one of those rare books that is actually the best book in a trilogy 🙈 Crescent City was totally amazing! I can’t wait to see how SJM will break our hearts lol
Nevernight is awesome, just beware that the author does not hold back on the cursing and the gore 😂
