Books I’d Like to See Under the Christmas Tree

Happy Saturday book friends! Have you made your bookish wishlist yet? To be honest, my Amazon wishlist and bookish wishlist are one and the same thing. So today I am sharing some of the books I would really like to see under the Christmas tree!

I know it’s still a little early to post a wishlist. Christmas is still two weeks away. But my mom might read this post, and so this post could serve as a little inspiration ? Christmas tree

Anyway, here are some of the books from my wishlist that I would definitely want to see under the Christmas tree this year!

Leviathan Wakes (10th Anniversary Edition)

By James S.A. Corey

My wishlist might just consist of special editions only… But I’d really like to see this edition of Leviathan Wakes under the Christmas tree! She’s a little expensive, otherwise I would’ve bought the book myself by now. This anniversary edition includes a whole new cover, a shiny box, magenta sprayed edges, and of course illustrations. And I love illustrations. Sooo, it’s clear that I definitely need this book (though I also wouldn’t say no to receiving the rest of this series).

Red Rising

By Pierce Brown

I read Red Rising a longish while ago, but for some reason never purchased myself a physical copy. But I really want one. Obviously I also want physical copies of the rest of the series. It’s too bad that a box set of the editions I want doesn’t exist (yet?), because that would make my life a lot easier. I also still need to read/purchase Iron Gold and all the books that come after, and knowing me, owning them in real life will motivate me to read them more.

Six Crimson Cranes

By Elizabeth Lim

This book is probably one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. So yes, a small part why it’s on my wishlist is that it’s just so pretty. But, the story itself seems really amazing, too, and I really want to read it. The reviews also look really good and it seems that this is a book that has plenty adventure, some of my favorite tropes, and an abundance of magic. So, put it under the Christmas tree please.

Six of Crows (Collector’s Edition)

By Leigh Bardugo

I’ve been wanting this one ever since it came out, which was in 2018, so honestly I could’ve bought it myself by now. Alas, I have not and thus I am wishing for it to appear under my tree. Obviously I also want the collector’s edition of Crooked Kingdom but I couldn’t figure out how to edit that cover in next to the one of Six of Crows. I am not very tech savvy… So let’s just consider this list to consist of five books.

And that’s it! Are there any books in particular you would like to see under your Christmas tree this year? Maybe you would like some special editions like I do? Let me know!
