Book covers that make me think of Winter

Hello reader friends! Remember how during the fall I made a post about book covers that made me feel all autumnal? Well this post is dedicated to all the books that make me think of winter!

Wintersong – S. Jae Jones

With a title like Wintersong, how can this book not top the list of winter book covers? I think it’s super pretty because it has a snow globe on the front, and I love snow globes. I have yet to read this book, though. I should definitely pick it up in the upcoming months, because it sounds like a great book to actually read in the winter!

The Queen of Nothing – Holly Black

This recent release honestly has a perfect winter cover. It has ice all over it! Not to mention that the chapter headers are snowy images as well. I’ve recently read this book, and you can find my full review here!

The Queen of Sorrow – Sarah Beth Durst

This one I unfortunately don’t own yet. It’s the third book in the Queens of Renthia trilogy, and so far I’ve only read the first book. I really enjoyed it though! Both book one and two made it onto my fall covers list. This one looks entirely differently from the other two. It’s way more blue! And that is honestly the only reason why it makes me think of winter so much. That and the mountains in the background.

Frostblood – Elly Blake

Again, with a title like that, the book cover has to be wintery! I feel like this series in honestly so slept on. It’s a perfect YA read! I always recommend it to people with younger teenagers, because it doesn’t involve a lot of graphic content. Either way, it’s a great fantasy series!

A Game of Thrones – George R.R. Martin

I got this newer edition of A Game of Thrones a while ago off Book Depository. One day I hope to have the entire series in this edition! And then maybe I’ll do a reread. It’s been so long since I finished the fifth book… more than five years to be exact. Anyway, this cover honestly screams winter.

The Chronicles of Narnia – C.S. Lewis

This beautiful Barnes & Noble leather-bound edition is probably my favorite of the winter book covers in this list. Not only is this entire book beautiful, I just love the cover art as well! It makes me want to cozy up in front of the fire place with a cup of tea and this particular book.

And that’s it for this post! Are there any book covers that make you think of winter? Let me know!
