Do you own books with covers that just instantly make you think about fall? I own quite a couple! Here’s a list of my favorites..
Shout out to JennieLy for being the inspiration behind this post!
An Enchantment of Ravens – Margaret Rogerson

This cover obviously had to scream fall, because the story takes place in the autumn court. Well I think they nailed it!
Sorcery of Thorns – Margaret Rogerson

For me this one brings out feelings of stormy fall days! Honestly sometimes the sky here is that shade of green.
The Queen of Blood – Sarah Beth Durst

There are falling leaves on the cover, therefore it’s a fall book. I don’t make the rules. Also this series is set in the trees.
The Reluctant Queen – Sarah Beth Durst

This one’s a little more green, but it still reminds me of fall because, like I said, the entire thing is set in trees. Nothing touches the ground in this world. There’s a third book out in this series, but I will save that one for winter covers!:)
Crooked Kingdom – Leigh Bardugo

Crooked Kingdom always gives me fall vibes. I think it’s the colors, honestly. Six of Crows does not spark feelings of fall for me for some reason. Also this cover is pure genius, look at that use of negative space!
The Name of the Wind – Patrick Rothfuss

I love this book inside and out, especially this beautiful UK edition that I own, which I love infinitely more than the US editions.
The Wise Man’s Fear – Patrick Rothfuss

This one if even more autumnal than The Name of the Wind! I love the colors on this cover so much. Also, can we please have the third book already?
Furthermore – Tahereh Mafi

This one’s extremely colorful, but for some reason it still reminds me of fall. I suspect it has something to do with the storyline as well. I haven’t read it just yet, but it sounds super whimsical and perfect for fall.
